Today our trip around the world stops in Italy in<strong> Squillace Gulf <\/strong>more exactly at <strong>Villa Ra,<\/strong> a residence realised by the designers of the international architecture studio <strong>Morq<\/strong> with offices in Rome and Perth.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Villa Ra<\/strong> is an expression of the owners\u2019 desire to return to nature, it seems to belong to the place where it was designed: an isolated area of 300 metres above sea level on the slopes overlooking the sea of <strong>Calabria<\/strong>. The fundamental idea of the work was to create <strong>\u2018a house that looks at nature\u2019<\/strong>, characterised by very large openings onto the green countryside and the sea.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe collaboration with <strong>Master<\/strong> was born in this way\u201d- <\/em>theese are the words of <strong>Ivano De Simone<\/strong>, technical director of the <strong>ALsistem group<\/strong><em>. \u201cWe had to create large sliding openings that offered maximum space for light and the outside view, combined with made-in-Italy design and quality. We were able to do this thanks to <strong>PANORAMICO<\/strong>, our sliding door system with large glasses, equipped with <strong>rollers with a load capacity of up to 500 kg and locking systems<\/strong> by <strong>Master Italy<\/strong>. Thanks to the collaboration with our local distributor <strong>Sidertre \u2013 Alsistem Calabria<\/strong> and the precious help of <strong>So.Mer Sas di Gregorio e Stefano Mercurio & C.<\/strong> experts doors and windows makers, we created for <strong>Villa Ra<\/strong> a <strong>sliding door measuring 9.75 x 2.20 metres<\/strong> with 3 sashes, the largest in the house and the one that, besides, frames the Gulf of Squillace\u201d.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe sliding systems realised for this important International architectural project, represent the perfect synthesis between the search for minimalism in <strong>design and high performance<\/strong> in terms of tightness to atmospheric agents and acoustic insulation,\u201d are the words of <strong>Massimo Demarinis<\/strong>, <strong>Italy Sales Area Manager<\/strong> <strong>of the Master Group<\/strong>, \u201cwithout overlooking a fundamental feature for this type of closing system, such as <strong>smoothness of sliding and movements<\/strong>.
