Candidates privacy policy

 

Pursuant art. 13 UE2016/679 regulation

Within the meaning and for the purpose of art.13 of Regulation 2016/679 (from now on «Regulation»), Master S.r.l. publishes the following information about handling personal data and information.

1. Data controller

The Data Controller (from now on «Controller»), pursuing art.4 of Regulation, is Master s.r.l., with registered office in SP 37 Conversano-Castiglione km 0,700 – 70014 Conversano (Bari) – Italy (from now on «Master»), which – under its prerogatives – can take advantages of the collaboration  of Data Processors or authorized people, explicitly appointed.

2. Purpose of processing

Data collection and processing are exclusively aimed to staff selection and evaluation, by Master and in the interest of its own Group. Data processing is in accordance with the Regulation and can be either manual or via computerised means, suitable to guarantee safety and privacy about processing. Data shall be stored in paper archives and computer databases, so they can be identified and specific or aggregated data can be selected.

3. Data collection

Information are collected by Master via mail, fax, e-mail, letter delivered by hand, form on the website, or via CV left by the candidate in recruiting agencies.

Sending a CV can mean:

a) a spontaneous application;

b) the reply to specific job advertisements by Master on media, on its own website, or websites by third parts;

Only so-called common personal information are collected, including a picture attached to professional profile, and these information are going to be treated strictly according to purposes, tasks, obbligation as written in point 2.

The subject, therefore, has not to give information that can be qualified as special pursuing Regulation. In the case the CV received by Master includes special personal data (e.g. data that can identify the owner as belonging to sheltered groups), Master shall process olny data that are relevant to evaluate professional skills, as long as the processing is essential to begin an employment relationship or a collaboration.

Master reserves the right to maintain in its database only the profiles that are considered to be interesting.

In any case, for spontaneous applications or replies to job advertisments, data processing by Master as Data Controller for staff selection shall respect purposes and modes pursuing this disclosure about data processing.

4. Voluntary provision – consequences of refusing consent

Notwithstanding freedom in providing one’s personal infomation, it must be considered that not authorising data processing makes it impossible, for Master, to consider the application for any selection or evaluation of employment. Master kindly asks all candidates to express their consent to data processing in their CVs.

5. Data communication and diffusion

For the abovementioned purposes, your personal data can be transferred to:

  • companies belonging to our Group;
  • our employees, instructed and informed;
  • companies and/or persons providing us Data Center services and their maintenance;

For the purposes mentioned in paragraph 2 and for what is requested by the procedure of selection or evaluation of the employees, personal data can be communicated and/or given to subjects responsible of other companies connected to Master.

Personal information can be sent, for the purposes mentioned in paragraph 2 to EU and extra EU countries; any further communication or dissemination is subject to the prior agreement of the owner of the information. It is understood that, in case of specific staff recruitments for Extra EU countries, communicating information to that country is implicit in the staff recruitment itself. Processed personal data are not subject to diffusion.

6. Data processing, storage, and duration

Data shall be kept by the Controller only for the period needed to pursue the aim they have been collected for and in any case for a maximum of two years since the owner’s last consent, unless a job relationship and/or collaboration have begun meanwhile.

In any case, data processing will cease in if the owner asks to cancel them.

Master reserves the right to destroy any CV or document containing personal information if it is judged not in accordance with the aims in paragraph 2.

Data processing can be made by one or more Master’s companies offices. In any case, data processing shall be closely related to the aims abovementioned and in ways that guarantee safety and privacy about data themselves.

7. Rights of the owner

In any moment, the owner has the right to pursue art. 15 and following of the Regulation, via email to privacy@masteritaly.com or writing to our office SP 37 Conversano-Castiglione Km 0,700 – 70014 Conversano (Bari) – Italy, or via fax +39.080.4959030. It is without prejudice that the Owner can withdraw in any moment the consent possibly given to data processing, and to oppose to data processing.

Owners believing their data processing via this service is violating the Regulation have the right to file a complaint to the Supervisor, pursuant art.77 of the Regulation itself, or to appeal to the appropriate courts (art.79 of the Regulation).

9. Equal opportunities
