With the new version of WEEN HIDE 180, Master Italy delivers a major upgrade of its tilt-and-turn solution with concealed hinges, keeping intact the distinctive modularity of the WEEN programme and introducing tangible improvements in build quality, ease of installation and range breadth.
The system retains the clean aesthetic that has always set it apart – with completely invisible components – and evolves technically thanks to solutions designed to optimise installation, adjustments and long-term performance.
High-resistance materials: C5 corrosion and H2 durability
The upgrade first and foremost concerns materials. Structural components such as levers, pins and frame brackets are all made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with corrosion resistance certified in Class 5 – very high corrosivity resistance (tested for over 480 hours in salt spray). These features make WEEN HIDE 180 suitable for use in highly aggressive environments such as industrial areas with high humidity or high atmospheric pollution, coastal areas with high salinity and buildings with permanent condensation.
The H2 class durability test certifies high performance in opening/closing and tilt cycles, maintaining unchanged operating forces and functionality over time. The system has also been tested on balcony-door configurations at maximum load for 10,000 consecutive casement cycles. WEEN HIDE 180 thus becomes an “infinitely resistant” system, designed for intensive use in residential and commercial contexts.
Even easier and faster installation
Some details of the new WEEN HIDE 180 have been redesigned to make installation even more intuitive. The quick cam coupling system, produced using the most advanced technological processes, guarantees maximum strength and the best installation experience.
The sash is fitted into the frame and the upper hinge connects to the roller via advanced quick coupling/decoupling systems, made with new materials to reduce friction and facilitate operation, both in the long-roller and short-roller versions.
The gap adjustment, including negative adjustment, ensures correct operation on double sashes with larger profiles. The overrider incorporated into the hinges also guarantees perfect sash-to-frame alignment.
Greater applicability, new load capacities
The range extension is another key feature of WEEN HIDE 180. The system can now also be adapted to internal coplanar systems thanks to the new hinge versions (series 3305/3306), as well as to aluminium eurogroove systems with overlap profile (series 3304A/3303A).
Load capacities reach 130 kg for series 3305/3306 (internal coplanar) and go up to 150 kg for series 3303A/3304A.
The new WEEN HIDE 180 sash support (Art. 3310.51) allows full 180° opening without limiting load capacity, overcoming the previous 90° opening constraint and making it possible to extend load capacity up to 180 kg depending on the profile type used.
With this upgrade, WEEN HIDE 180 confirms its modularity, improves ease of installation and broadens its field of application, offering the market an advanced concealed system that is durable and high-performing.
