Thus came the expansion of the NIX range, available as of May 2025 in a new bi-directional version designed for as universal an application as possible, with vertical and horizontal fastening for use on door systems, folding, outward‑opening or sliding systems.
How does the NIX line of bi-directional retractable handles work?
A solution that allows installation on different types of profiles and openings. The movement of the handle, from 0° to 180°, actuates two rod ends or pins in opposite directions, allowing the door to be opened and closed.
Versatile installation: front or side mounting
Installation can be via lateral pointing of the accessory on the sliding profile by means of connecting pins, in single‑ or bi‑directional configuration. Alternatively, the handle can be installed frontally on the profile of the sliding system, on door systems, folding or outward‑opening systems like a traditional tray handle, with the advantage that the lever moves 180° when opening and closing, thus always remaining recessed within the profile. In addition, it is possible to keep the handle completely concealed when installed on a central section, preserving the clean, linear aesthetic characterising the entire range.
Ideal for folding systems: functionality without compromise
Particularly suitable for folding systems, this extension of the range is the ideal solution for eliminating bulk and protrusions, facilitating the opening and closing of the doors. This development guarantees functionality and design. Thanks to specific adapters, it is possible to connect to M8 threaded rods or, for a simpler solution, to aluminium rods that allow the use of locking rod ends in different shapes and sizes.
Multi-profile compatibility: maximum adaptability
In order to adapt to the different profile types on the market, NIX is available in three versions with a variable entry from 18 mm to 40 mm in addition to the corresponding keyed versions, for a total of six product codes designed to offer maximum versatility.
