Master launches on the market WEEN, the new tilt turn system designed to combine green character and functionality. Designed to represent a modular and complete series for tilt turn windows, WEEN is Master’s answer to doors and windows and design markets, dealing with very wide glass surfaces and high energetic performances more than ever before.

Its name merges the words Windows and Green in one single product concept, because Master keeps on being engaged with green awareness signing a voluntary agreement in accordance with Ministry of Environment, where it commits, as the first company in doors and windows accessories, to implement actions to improve and reduce CO₂  emissions in the production of its products.

Moreover, WEEN, contributes to release credits for LEED®, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification, an international standard for design, building, and management of sustainable buildings in high performing areas. LEED® certification is given to the building, not products, but they are of crucial importance for the building to get the certification itself. All products involved in the project can participate in getting credits, as long as they are consistent with the requirements. Those taking part in a LEED® project can ask Master for products responding to requirements and all information, documentation and certifications regarding product performance.

WEEN is ethical and green and it represents an absolute technical innovation for tilt turn systems, as it is:

– complete and modular, suitable for cremonese and martellina, with or without key, available in logic and traditional maneuver, with top anti-mishandling, on the cremonese and on the unidirectional device (it only takes a small amount of articles to meet many different needs);

– compact and resistant, because there is a range from 100 to 160 kg of maximum – capacity with only one additional screw, the three closing points on the cremonese side are standard, as well as the support for the shutter with a brass roll;

– simple and intuitive as it is mounted and managed with two tools only, it enables 3 independent adjustments on the lower hinge, outwards (+/- 1 mm), height (+/- 2 mm) and under pressure (- 0,5 mm), and two adjustments on the upper side, outwards (+/- 1 mm) and pressure (- 4 mm), both for the active and passive shutter, that have perfectly symmetrical shutters. It is also possible to regulate it in pressure (+/- 2,5 mm) with adjustable matching parts. The additional closing kit can be installed on the building site without dismantling the shatter, and all the pieces are in separate sections of the new pack.
